Yogyakarta, Indonesia. 6–7 October 2021
As you may be aware, the global health crisis with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a unique challenge that has impacted many participants in this conference. Governments around the world are now issuing restrictions on travel, gatherings, and meetings to limit and slow the spread of the virus. The health and safety of the BioMIC participants and speakers is our priority and UGM is supporting these efforts.
Following the advice and guidelines from healthcare officials and local authorities, BioMIC 2021 will now be held virtually on 6–7 October 2021. The conference fees will be adjusted. Information and instructions on how to prepare for a virtual presentation will be sent separately.
Although BioMIC 2021 cannot be held physically, the integrity and quality of the research and content will remain and now be experienced in the virtual environment.
Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2021) series, the 4th International Conference on Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering (BioMIC 2021) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in bioinformatics, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering.
This year, the conference will take the theme “Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Precision Healthcare: A Vision of the Future” with five symposia: Big Data for Public Health Policy symposium; Bioinformatics and Data Mining symposium; Biomedical Sciences and Engineering symposium; Biomolecular and Biotechnology symposium; and Drug Development and Nutraceutical symposium.
BioMIC 2021 receives manuscripts of original research, review articles, and case report.
The accepted and presented papers will be submitted to proceedings BIO Web of Conferences (CPCI).
