Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2024) series, the 5th International Conference on Smart and Innovative Agriculture (ICoSIA 2024) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in agriculture.
The theme of this year conference is "Feeding the Planet Sustainably: a Convergence of Technology, Ecology, and Community", with seven symposia will be held: Agricultural Big Data Analysis symposium; Agricultural Geography symposium; Land and Environmental Management symposium; Precision Nutrition Technology symposium; Smart and Precision Farming symposium; Smart Genetics Resource Management and Utilization symposium; and Sustainable Food Production symposium.
ICoSIA 2024 is in conjunction with the 10th International Conference on Science and Technology and the 5th Geoscience and Environmental Management symposium.
We are delighted to share that a selection of outstanding papers—accepted and presented during the conference—has been published in the proceedings of BIO Web of Conferences. These proceedings are indexed in prominent international databases, including Scopus, Conference Proceedings Citation Index (Web of Science) (subject to acceptance, as with all proceedings journals), and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). This ensures that the valuable research contributions from our community receive broad visibility and are accessible to scholars worldwide.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, and participants for their dedication and engagement, which have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.
