Yogyakarta, Indonesia. 7–8 September 2022
As you may be aware, the global health crisis with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a unique challenge that has impacted many participants in this conference. Governments around the world are now issuing restrictions on travel, gatherings, and meetings to limit and slow the spread of the virus. The health and safety of the ICST participants and speakers is our priority and UGM is supporting these efforts.
Following the advice and guidelines from healthcare officials and local authorities, ICST 2022 will be held virtually on 7–8 September 2022. Although ICST 2022 cannot be held physically, the integrity and quality of the research and content will remain and now be experienced in the virtual environment.
Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2022) series, the 8th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST 2022) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in engineering and the natural sciences.
This year, five symposia will be held: Computer and Information Technology symposium; Electronics, Power, Communication, Control, and Instrumentation symposium; Life Sciences, Materials, and Applied Chemistry symposium; Mechanical and Industrial Engineering symposium; and Remote Sensing and Geomatics symposium.
ICST 2022 is in conjunction with the 3rd Geoscience and Environmental Management symposium.
The accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion to journals/proceedings that are indexed by Scopus/CPCI/DOAJ: IEEE Xplore Digital Library, IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, AIP Conference Proceedings, or Scientific.Net.
