In October 2020, hundreds of public health professionals, students and public health practitioners will meet in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, for the BioMIC 2020 Symposium. It is organized by the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The BioMIC 2020 Simposium comes at a critical time for our planet This year a global challenge to Public Health suddenly threatening human life with the raise of Covid-19 pandemic. The health crisis has spread to economic and even to politics in some parts of the world. In the crush of the threat, experts from various field of sciences are required to work hand in hand and move quickly. Society is faced with the reality of the consistent threat that impacts alertness and compliance in one pole, as well boredom and apathy on the other. The crisis also raises to a series of increase in other diseases such as mental illness, non-communicable diseases, and another infectious disease to name some, due to the focus of health efforts on tackling the COVID-19. Public health practitioners are required to be a resilience agent of change in all level of target, from the lowest-level in the society to policymakers.
The theme of This Public Health Track on the symposium, "Public Health Resilience in the time of COVID-19", reflects our commitment as global public health actors, who are responsible for overcoming the health challenges. The 2020 BioMIC Symposium, although held virtually, provides an opportunity for health professionals and public health practitioners to exchange ideas in order to find various possible solutions.
There will be some ignition speech from internationally recognized experts, followed by some parallel session where participants and experts may discuss their ideas freely in a new virtual format.

Each parallel symposia will have a moderator, with one or more committee members in attendance. Oral presentations for the BioMIC symposia have been allocated 15 minutes of effective presentation time. One article can only be presented by a presenter, the other authors can register as non-presenters who help in the discussion sessions. Based on allocated presentation time, the presentation file should ideally contain approximately 10–12 PowerPoint slides. You are responsible for the content of your presentation.
All presenters are required to submit their presentation file during registration on the first or second day of the conference, at the submissions desk in front of the ballroom. It is not possible to use your own computer for your presentation.
This tutorial will guide you through creating your EDAS account. If you already have an EDAS account, please log in to submit your manuscript using your registered account.

Type your information in the required fields (marked with a red asterisk), you can complete other information after the registration. At the end of the form, tick the box “I consent to the EDAS privacy and policies”, and click Add this person
to create your account.
Your account has been created. Your username and ID number will be sent to your email.

Set up your initial password by clicking the link on your email. You could find the email in your inbox or spam mail.

Type edas.info/N27196 and log in to your EDAS account.

Once you are logged in, click the symposium name
—under the Track column—that matches on your manuscript to be registered.
Enter your manuscript details, tick the box “Add yourself as author” and click Submit
button to register your manuscript.
Your manuscript has successfully been registered. You will now be able to view your manuscript in your EDAS account.

Click Add authors
to add your co-authors (if available).
Write your co-author’s name, EDAS ID, or email address. Alternatively, you can simply select your co-author’s name from the co-author list. Then, click Add author
button.
Select the radio button before your co-author’s name and click Select this person
button to confirm it.

After adding your co-author, click Upload the manuscript
to upload your document.
Tick the box “I have checked that the authors listed in the manuscript are the same as the current list of authors on the paper record”, choose your document, and click Upload ...
button.
