Virtual Conference from Yogyakarta, Indonesia
7–8 September 2021
As you may be aware, the global health crisis with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a unique challenge
that has impacted many participants in this conference. Governments around the world are now issuing
restrictions on travel, gatherings, and meetings to limit and slow the spread of the virus. The health and
safety of the ICST UGM participants and speakers is our priority and UGM is supporting these
efforts.
Following the advice and guidelines from healthcare officials and local authorities, ICST
UGM 2021 will be held virtually on 7–8 September 2021. Although ICST UGM 2021 cannot be held physically, the
integrity and quality of the research and content will remain and now be experienced in the virtual
environment.
Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2021) series, the 7th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST UGM 2021) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in engineering and the natural sciences.
This year, five symposia will be held, Computer and Information Technology symposium; Electronics, Power, Communication, Control, and Instrumentation symposium; Life Sciences, Materials, and Applied Chemistry symposium; Mechanical and Industrial Engineering symposium; and Remote Sensing and Geomatics symposium.
ICST UGM 2021 is in conjunction with the 2nd Geoscience and Environmental Management symposium.
