Established in 1961, when it was originally titled Madjalah Ilmu Boemi Indonesia, the Indonesian Journal of Geography is published by Universitas Gadjah Mada in cooperation with the Association of the Indonesian Geographers. The journal is indexed in Scopus and DOAJ.
Selected articles presented in the Geomaritime symposium have been submitted to the Indonesian Journal of Geography.
