Association for Asian Studies (AAS-in-Asia 2024) present in Yogyakarta on July 9-11, 2024. AAS is a non-profit organization located in the USA which is dedicated to Asian Studies through international exchange, networking, publications, research support, and career development.

The Special Event was held at Faculty of Philosophy Universitas Gadjah Mada on July 10, 2024 with the topic "Of Divine Eloquence: Intertwined Conversations in The Languages of Islamic, Chinese, Javanese, and Korean Calligraphies."

Every participant here got the learning Calligraphies through fourth countries here.

Pada Selasa, 9 Juli 2024 s.d. Kamis, 11 Juli 2024, telah dilaksanakan konferensi internasional yang merupakan kolaborasi dari Association of Asian Studies bersama Universitas Gadjah Mada, yang diadakan di sejumlah fakultas, salah satunya adalah Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM. 🏫

Bertemakan "Global Asias: Latent Histories, Manifest Impacts", konferensi ini menjadi ajang untuk pembahasan mengenai "Global Asias" sebagai lensa untuk mengeksplor dinamika keberagaman serta kompleksitas dari sisi sejarah, konsep, dan metodologi di Asia. Chinese Calligraphy is one of the historical calligraphy presented in the special event. Mansheng Wang, the expert Chinese artist, calligrapher, and painter, declared that Chinese Calligraphy has a strong long history.

The earliest Chinese calligraphy rooted from Buddhism & Taoism that clarified good things from a human's hearts. The value of the kindest heart and abstraction unified to one truthness.

Sebagai universitas pusat kebudayaan, UGM mempromosikan ragam budaya Indonesia di acara AAS-in-Asia 2024 yang telah sukses dilaksanakan 9-11 Juli 2024 silam. Salah satunya yaitu penampilan memukau sebuah karya tari "Lintas Negeriku" dengan Koreografer: Tri Anggoro, S.Sn., Penata Musik: Boedhie Pramono, dan Penata Busana: Anisa Pratiwi, S.Pd.

Tarian tersebut menjadi simbol beragamnya kebudayaan di Indonesia. Dan benar, itu menjadi perhatian lebih oleh para peserta AAS in Asia. Setelah tampil, banyak sekali kawan dari berbagai negara yang mengajak berfoto bersama para penari dari @bso.sasoebah.
