Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is proud to host the AAS-in-Asia Conference 2024 at our campus located in the beautiful city of Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. UGM is one of the biggest university in Indonesia, in terms of the student body and the campus footprint. The proposed site of the AAS-in-Asia Conference 2024 will be the majestic campus of UGM in the city of Yogyakarta, The Province of The Special District of Yogyakarta in south-central Java, Indonesia. The plenary and exhibition area is located in Grha Sabha Pramana Building at the campus heart surrounded by faculties in social and humanities cluster, which includes the Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, and Faculty of Psychology.

There have been 360 panels scheduled (310 organized panel sessions and 50 roundtable sessions) comprising 1565 paper presentations in the AAS-in-Asia Conference 2024. In addition to these presenters, the participants are estimated to be more than 1500. With the huge size of UGM community, the exhibitions will attract a big number of visitors from other parts of the campus. UGM is an open campus without wall to separate it from the surrounding communities. Therefore, the exhibition areas are also accessible to a wider audience.

We also offer a special sponsorship on the conference’s social events and side programs to enhance the visibility of the sponsor’s institution. The prospective sponsors are requested to contact our person-in-charge for the detail of the sponsorship format:

  4. Calligraphy workshop and discussion;
  5. Film screening and discussion (theme: Documenting Differences, Voicing Hopes);

The exhibition area of the AAS-in-Asia Conference 2024 will be located in the space easily accessible from the buildings where the conference are hosted. The space is also clearly visible to attract the academic community in UGM because the location is in the center of UGM campus. The booth plan will maximize the Exhibitor’s exposure to all delegates.
