Visa information

There are three possible types of visa that may be used for the 2024 AAS-in-Asia Conference namely Visa Exemption (free visa), Visa on Arrival, and Visit Visa. Most of the participants are eligible for free visa or Visa on Arrival. The details are as shown in the following table.

Visit Visa Individuals who do not hold citizenship in ASEAN nations or qualify for Visa on Arrival (VoA) privileges, as outlined in points 1 and 2 above, are required to get a visit visa All Countries

  2. Provide a recent photograph with a white background, showing the head and shoulders down to the chest.
  3. A letter of invitation is required.

How to apply for the visa

To initiate the visa application process, you can access evisa.imigrasi.go.id and register for an account. A comprehensive visa application guide is available at ugm.id/EVisaGuide. For assistance with the visa application, particularly for Visa on Arrival, you can refer to the steps outlined here to assist you when you apply the visa through the evisa.imigrasi.go.id website.

Note:
You can also get the visa on arrival once you arrive in Indonesia. If you choose to do so, you may not apply for the visa at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.


  1. I am traveling on a passport from; select your home country;
  2. The main purpose of my visit to Indonesia is; select General, Family or Social;
  3. The sub purpose of my visit to Indonesia is; select Tourism, Family Visit, and Transit;
  4. I want to explore & choose a visa; select Visa on Arrival 30 Days;
  5. I am planning to stay; select 30 Days; and
  6. Then click the Detail & Login button.
  • You are able to apply for electronic Visa on Arrival without having an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. There is no need to sign up.
  • Make sure you complete your electronic Visa on Arrival application by clicking submit button and paying the visa bill.

  1. Upon arrival, go to Visa on Arrival counter;
  2. Pay the Visa on Arrival fee as much as IDR500.000;
  3. Get the Visa on Arrival sticker; and
  4. Go to immigration check counter.
