/personIn this tour we will visit the Borobudur temple, the biggest temple in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is one of the most visited temples in Indonesia. Composed in 10 terraces: 7 levels as rectangular decorated by 2000 of the reliefs and 3 circulars levels contained 72 of Buddha statues describe a Buddha’s life reaching the Nirwana. A big stupa was built on the top of the temple, where you can enjoy the amazing panorama around the temple. *Since the Covid-19 pandemic, access to the temple structure has been limited for 1200 visitors/day and 150 visitors/hour. So for group tour, we will only tour the temple’s ground and will not go up the temple’s structure. If the quota permitted, you can go to the temple structure.
After visit the temple, we will have lunch in BS Restaurant or Sekarkedaton Restaurant with Indonesian and Javanese food. And you will visit the Silver workshop. Yogyakarta is known as city of Silver specialy the city of Kota Gede. Afternoon, We will visit Prambanan temple. Composed by 240 temples, Prambanan is considered as the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, with 3 main temples dedicated to the trinity for Gods of Brahma, Wisnu and Shiva. The temples are decorated by hundred of panels of the relief describe the story of Ramayana, Kresnayana. With all detail of the relief, Prambanan is also considered as the finest temple in Indonesia. Then, going back to Grha Sabha Pramana UGM.

/personWe will leave for Kaliadem village for 45 minutes, on the slope of Mount Merapi where You can enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Merapi Volcano. From Kaliadem Village, we will ride an open Jeep to visit the village, Museum of Sisa Hartaku, and to go near the peak of the Volcano. Please note that Merapi is an active volcano. Kaliadem is the nearest village from the Merapi. Please follow the rules and ask your guide if you will leave the group.
After visiting Mount Merapi, we will visit the Kraton (palace) of the Sultan of Yogyakarta, which is considered the center of Javanese culture. Here you can explore the Javanese culture, music, philosophy, and architecture. At the Kraton we will see hundreds of the batik-clad royal household servants also known as abdi dalem.
Lunch will be provided in Ndalem Ngabean Restaurant or Sekar Kedaton Restaurant serve various of Indonesian and Javanese food.
In the afternoon we will visit the batik home industry to see how batik clothes are made. Indonesian batik was recognized as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009. Many Indonesians wear batik clothes on daily basis for ceremonial purposes. Then, going back to Grha Sabha Pramana UGM.

/personFrom here we will go to the Rama Shinta restaurant, a garden restaurant near the Prambanan Temple to have a buffet-style dinner. You will enjoy a spectacular nighttime view of the Prambanan Temple complex being bathed in light from the restaurant.
After dinner, we will watch the open-air Ramayana Ballet performance on the stage just next to the restaurant. *The show will start at 7:30 pm. The Ramayana Ballet is a Javanese dance performance based on the Hindu epic Ramayana adapted to Javanese culture. The Ramayana recounts the story of Rama’s journey to save his wife Sita (Sinta in Javanese) who was kidnapped by the king of Alengka Rawana. More than 100 professional dancers and musicians participated in this ballet performance. Then, going back to Grha Sabha Pramana UGM.
